Darrin Samaha Client Services Lead
Darrin Samaha serves as the company's client services lead. He oversees all our project management, including services delivery, business development, marketing, outreach and sales. He also has extensive experience in the design trenches, producing design prototypes for many of our clients.
Darrin began his career at Vignette Corporation with the Advanced Business Analytics Group, where his team developed Web-based financial services tools. As project manager, he was responsible for all Web development and strategic planning. He left Vignette to join Painted Word Consulting (now Palladium Es). Darrin has worked with an impressive list of clients, including GE, Charles Schwab, Liberty Mutual and Cognos.
Darrin holds a BA from Tufts University, where he studied human factors psychology and GUI design. He is a member of the Harvard Square Business Association, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, and the American Marketing Association Boston Chapter. When not working at Blue Coda, he plays drums in a band and is an avid snowboarder and kitesurfer.
Jason Schaffer Technology Lead
Jason Schaffer serves as Blue Coda’s technology lead and is responsible for plotting IT strategy, directing all application design and development, and tracking emerging technologies. He has 10 years of experience in the technology consulting space and is well versed in a wide array of languages and platforms. He also has extensive experience in integrating open-source software into client solutions.
Jason began his technology career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he played an integral role in the development of his practice’s electronic commerce division. Over the years, he has designed and built applications for prominent clients such as GE, the Central Intelligence Agency, Ginnie Mae, CVS, GTECH and the Points of Light Foundation. He has also led application development projects at several consulting firms, including Sapient and Painted Word (now Palladium Es).
Jason hails from Fairfax, Virginia, and has a BS in accounting information systems (AIS) from Virginia Tech. He is a member of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and the American Marketing Association Boston Chapter. In his spare time, Jason enjoys competing in triathlons, watching his beloved Hokies battle on the gridiron and expanding upon his culinary talents.
