Blue Coda launched a dynamic new website for Boston based nonprofit ACCESS. The website features an easy to use content management solution, as well as a compelling new graphical design.
ACCESS works to ensure that all young people in Boston have the financial information and resources necessary to achieve their dream of a higher education. Since its founding in 1985, ACCESS has provided financial aid advising and scholarships to thousands of Boston students. Several goals were met during the project, including: - ACCESS staff can now easily keep the site up to date, using the robust, open source content management solution that was integrated into the site.
- The site was given a dramatic new look to increase appeal with the organization's multiple stakeholders.
- Content is organized in two separate ways to improve navigation throughout the site.
- Visitors are kept informed of important upcoming dates, including application deadlines and other events, through a series of content-specific calendars.
- Visitors can test their knowledge of the financial aid process by taking the interactive financial aid quiz.
The new website can be viewed at www.accessboston.org.
