Northeast Pharmacy provides key business services to its network of approximately 250 independent pharmacies, helping each survive in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Northeast Pharmacy hired Blue Coda to create a new corporate logo and brand identity. This effort resulted in the creation of a new Web site.
The Challenge:
Northeast Pharmacy needed to appeal to two different site visitors: potential new members as well as existing members. The site needed to provide clear and concise information to members on new regulations, health care standards, and generic drug purchase strategies, effectively providing the independent pharmacies with many of the benefits available to the larger pharmacy chains. The organization deemed the timely updating of content a critical necessity.

Here's how we did it:
Devised a new logo and tagline design, that reflects a contemporary graphical approach and a tagline created to anchor the association's new marketing efforts
Integrated a robust content management solution (CMS) to allow for frequent content updates by staff
Designed homepage component to allow for a significant amount of text without appearing cluttered
Featured a login-protected, "Members Only" section for independent pharmacies to provide important reference information
Trained staff on how to use the CMS
Results:
The new Northeast Pharmacy site launched in November of 2008. The site has successfully provided existing and prospective members with easy access to information and continues to aid Northeast Pharmacy in its internal and external communication.
