10 things you'll never hear |
|
What distinguishes Blue Coda from other firms is perhaps best illustrated by what you won’t hear when working with us.
1) “We don’t know where to begin!” Our process of gathering information and problem solving enables us to confidently tackle the largest and most complex problems.
2) “Before we talk about you and your specific needs, why don’t we first talk about me and why our firm is so great?” Our focus is on you, our client. We don’t waste your time with unnecessary distractions.
3) “Allow us to introduce you to John, a recent college graduate. He’ll be your primary contact going forward.” Your primary contacts are those with the most industry experience — that is, the principals of the business, our leadership team.
4) “What you need to do is utilize the MySql ODBC driver to integrate the RSS feed within the overarching CRM process ...” As your partner, we always explain issues using terms you can easily comprehend. You don’t need to be an experienced Web developer to understand us!
5) “Why don’t you just pick one of the Web design templates from our library?” Our designs are created custom for you based on your specific needs and goals.
6) “We are a business that focuses on implementing XYZ technology.” We’re well versed in all major programming languages and development platforms. However, we believe the planning done upfront ultimately has a larger impact on project success than the specific technology used.
7) “By the way, we went over budget on the project and will be invoicing you for additional charges.” Our project contracts are fixed-price. If requirements arise beyond the project scope, we perform no further work nor accrue any additional costs without your explicit understanding and approval.
8) “What you are asking for cannot be accomplished.” The phrases “that’s impossible” and “that will never work” are not in our vocabulary.
9) “Can you repeat what you just said? I wasn’t paying attention and completely missed what you were telling me.” You deserve our complete attention, and our complete attention is what you get!
10) “We're sorry, but there's only one option we can present to you.” We believe in giving you choices, no matter what the situation.
